Meet the Man Behind SillyFish Lures
In 2022, Dean Hanckel, a passionate angler with over 50 years of fishing experience, took on a new challenge: designing and crafting diving crankbait type fishing lures. After 20 years of casting and towing hundreds of lures around his favourite waterways, Dean decided to channel his knowledge into creating lures that anyone can use with ease and success.
SillyFish Lures, starting with the Mirage 55 – a proven performer on species like Flathead, Bream, Snapper, Tailor, and many more. With ongoing research and development, Dean is committed to designing lures that exceed expectations and help anglers everywhere enjoy their time on the water.
